Our busy month of October continues Friday with the start of "Encuentro Matrimonial" or Marriage Encounter. There are 20 couples signed up to participate in this retreat, designed to strengthen marriages by giving couples tools for communication and an environment where they are uninhibited by everyday distractions. Each couple participates free of charge and child care is taken care of for the entire weekend. We will be working behind the scenes with 5 other couples on the Grupo de Apoyo (support group) to serve the participants throughout the weekend. This will be long and exhausting yet very rewarding as we get to assist in providing the same surprises and blessings to those living the Marriage Encounter weekend, like so many couples did this past May when we were able to live the weekend ourselves.
We ask for your prayers that things will go smoothly this weekend, and that the couples in attendance will be blessed by their experiences and that some of the them may come to know the Lord through this ministry. Thanks & God Bless!

It is so encouraging to see what you are both doing and the steps you are taking to serve our Lord. Karl and I are also going through a Marriage Enrichment Series right now. It is great to learn how we can better serve each other in love. Keep on keeping on and thanks for the updates!
